An organized {kitchen}

You may remember last week I posted about feeling the need to get my home organized.  Boy was I in luck.  Toni, who writes an absolutely awesome blog called A Bowl Full of Lemons, introduced her 14 week home organization challenge on Saturday.  You can check out all the details here and see her AMAZING kitchen.  I am going to do my very best to follow along and so far so good.  Week one is the kitchen.

Week 1:  The Kitchen

The After

Snack storage from IKEA. $4 - $6

Easy DIY drawer dividers.  Ben built these out of some scrap wood in less than 15 minutes.

This is so silly but this is easily my favorite cabinet that got re-organized.  Add a lazy susan to your medicine or spice cabinet for easy access to whatever you need. There is nothing like a neat, organized medicine cabinet when you're looking for the children's Advil with a screaming 2 year old in your arms.

And it's nice to be able to find our stuff too without taking the whole cabinet apart. Ah, it really is the little things.

A new faucet, check! And an idea that I "pinned" and actually executed!  If you have some wine corks hanging around, and I know you do; stick them with the end of a wooden skewer and label with the herbs you're growing.
