Kitchen(s) of the week
I'm a sucker for a farmhouse sink. That is why I couldn't pick just one kitchen image this week. I love them all. A farmhouse sink doesn't just fit in a country or cottage style home, its a great unexpected feature in a more contemporary home as well. Enjoy browsing these images........

But the fire is so delightful.....
I can't believe Christmas is just a few short days away. Hopefully you all have finished your shopping. We're done here but we have a lot of wrapping & baking to do. It's finally a little bit cooler so I thought these images of beautifully decorated fireplaces were appropriate. Good tidings to you & yours.

baby it's..... warm outside?
Hey I thought it was December? It has been unseasonably warm round these parts this week which is not making it feel very much like Christmas. Every now and then I like a chill in the air & gray skies, especially this time of year. Here are some images to help you "cool" down....

Weekend full of decorating
We certainly had a busy weekend. Our house is decorated inside and out. We payed a visit to Santa; although Beckett was too scared to sit on his lap so we ended up taking a family picture instead of just the boys, & we did a little Christmas shopping. Here are some pictures of how our house turned out......
Front door. Fresh Fraser Fur wreath |
Added a wreath to our hallway and used the boys coat hooks to hang our stockings. Ben made this shelf & hook combo a couple of months ago. We will post the tutorial later. |
This is just a simple wreath over the fire place but our dog Tregg posed for me so I had to post it. |
Beautiful tree lit up at night complete with a Lionel train. |
Here are some of my favorite ornaments........
Can't forget the presents.......
Here's to a happy and healthy holiday season!!

Kitchen of the week
We LOVE kitchens. It's truly the heart of any home. Each week we will post a kitchen that has inspired us. Here is this weeks..................
Everything about this non-traditional kitchen is fabulous. The color of the cabinets, the stainless island, the quirky chandelier, need I go on? |
These are Fridge Coasters we would pick out for this kitchen. They play off the chandelier nicely, don't you think? |

Thanksgiving prep
Thanksgiving is less than a week a way and if you have a new baby like we do, you just realized that this morning. We are hosting 12 family members next Thursday and luckily my sister in law and I discussed the menu before #2 arrived. However, we still need to get our house in order and come up with some type of table scape that is simple but put together.
I just finished making these place card holders and it was super easy. I made them with supplies I already had lying around the house and it literally took me 30 minutes max. In fact, both my boys are still sleeping and I have done two loads of laundry. Thats how quick this was. So, if you need a last minute idea; try this out.

Nice to meet you
Hi. We are the husband & wife team behind Fridge Coaster. My husband came up with idea for Fridge Coaster after we had our first baby. Frankly, he was sick of scrubbing milk rings off the refrigerator shelves left behind from baby bottles. Two years later his innovative idea has come to fruition and we've added another baby to the mix.

What the heck is a Fridge Coaster?
Welcome to our blog. You're probably wondering what in the world a Fridge Coaster is? Well, it's the latest and greatest time saver. Fridge Coasters have been custom fit to go inside your refrigerator door shelves, crisper bins or directly on the shelf to absorb all that condensation, grime and build up that happens over time. What does this mean for you? No more scrubbing your refrigerator. Once your Fridge Coasters have handled all they can; simply toss them in the recycling bin and replace them with a new pack. No scrubbing or cleaning. In addition to the functionality they will make you happy. We offer a variety of prints and colors that will liven up your fridge. We like to call it "fashion for your fridge".
