I'm a sucker for a farmhouse sink.  That is why I couldn't pick just one kitchen image this week.  I love them all.  A farmhouse sink doesn't just fit in a country or cottage style home, its a great unexpected feature in a more contemporary home as well.  Enjoy browsing these images........

I can't believe Christmas is just a few short days away.  Hopefully you all have finished your shopping.  We're done here but we have a lot of wrapping & baking to do.  It's finally a little bit cooler so I thought these images of beautifully decorated fireplaces were appropriate.  Good tidings to you & yours.

Hey I thought it was December?  It has been unseasonably warm round these parts this week which is not making it feel very much like Christmas.  Every now and then I like a chill in the air & gray skies, especially this time of year. Here are some images to help you "cool" down....

A couple of weeks ago we asked you to send us pictures of Fridge Coasters in refrigerators.  We got a ton of pictures, so each week we will post a new refrigerator featuring different Fridge Coasters.  This weeks pictures come from Brittany in Gainesville, FL.

Weekend full of decorating

We certainly had a busy weekend.  Our house is decorated inside and out. We payed a visit to Santa; although Beckett was too scared to sit on his lap so we ended up taking a family picture instead of just the boys, & we did a little Christmas shopping.  Here are some pictures of how our house turned out......

Added a wreath to our hallway and used the boys coat hooks to hang our stockings.  Ben made this shelf & hook combo a couple of months ago.  We will post the tutorial later.

This is just a simple wreath over the fire place but our dog Tregg posed for me so I had to post it.

I think this is my last year of having a "themed" tree. Right now most of our ornaments are bronze, gold or champaign. As the boys get older I'm sure we will have to add colorful lights and a few more ornaments to make it more "fun".

Can't forget the presents.......

This year I am using plain brown packaging paper and red velvet ribbon.  The paper is a lot less expensive then traditional wrapping paper and can be so fun to personalize.  These presents are for our nephew Jaxon and Beckett will have the chance to color all over them when he gets up from his nap :)
